About Me

I am Pavan Kumar Revuru, a doctoral researcher in Geotechnical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Ropar, Punjab, India. My academic and research journey is focused on understanding and addressing complex geotechnical challenges through numerical modelling, experimental studies, and sustainable engineering solutions.

Academic Background

I am currently pursuing my PhD in Geotechnical Engineering at IIT Ropar under the Ministry of Education (MHRD) Fellowship, Government of India. My research interests include slope stability, landslide risk assessment, rock mechanics, and advanced geotechnical modelling.

I completed my M.Tech in Geotechnical Engineering from Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering, Tirupati in 2023 with a CGPA of 8.47. My master’s thesis focused on “Stabilization of Expansive Soil with Silica-based Materials”.

I obtained my B.Tech degree in 2019 from Siddhartha Educational Academic Group of Institutions, Tirupati, with a strong foundation in civil and geotechnical engineering fundamentals.
